I am part of a group of people who had a Minecraft server with low player count,I am wondering how many of us play Minecraft.

I do, I use a lot of mods so SMP isn’t something I play a lot of! I think it’d be cool to do a survival server with you guys though.

I also use a lot of mods,vanilla Minecraft hasn’t interested me since alpha. PS.

OH MY GOSH look at the Google spell check,they are actually counting Minecraft as a word.

Do you follow the Tropic-Craft development? Great mod, but I’m so sick of waiting for 3.0 to come out! I remember them saying it would be released in December!

i have an account but i’ve played only a few times.

if enough of us play and can agree on a setup we should put up a server or two. i’m down for a style that’s PvP oriented.

It is Minecraft, a sherbet lemon will work for a video card. And And Aloha server would be fun,I know lots of people looking for a server right now.

@Jyromefedx Actually you do need a graphics card to run minecraft.

I play! I would love a Minecraft Aloha server too. Actually, nearly anyone who plays AOS play MC.

If it would be kind of faction based tekkit would be fun because you can craft guns and cannons and a whole arsenal of new weapons.

I strongly suggest not setting it up yet though. There will be a very large update to Minecraft soon, (in a few weeks-months) which will change how a lot of the game works. Wait until then to do anything.

Bukkit is the kind of server you would want, if you are going to set it up now. It’s a modded version (like pyspades), and it allows for custom plugins to be easily made or added.

Bukkit.org is great on that, I can provide a lot of help w/setting up what it generally ‘fun’ and whatnot in Minecraft, I’m a 2 year veteran of the game, and have hosted 2 small (<20 whitelisted), yet successful servers.

A heavy PvP orientated gameplay will require a modded server, vanilla isn’t made for Pvp.
