Aside from the casual AoS session, I don’t game as much as I used to. A majority of my consoles are packed away except for my PSP and PS3- which I only use from time to time.
Modern games are visually impressive, but most of them don’t really appeal to me like the older games did. Every now and then I’ll find myself going back and replaying games from the NES, SNES, and PS1 eras. Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story and Metal Gear Solid/3 are some of my favorites.
The PS3 is a 1st generation CECHA01 model featuring PS1 backwards compatibility. I keep it plugged in for some of the newer games like Demon’s Souls/Dark Souls/upcoming-Dark Souls II, but also for PS1/PS2 games and as a Blu-ray player.
The PSP is for handheld PS1 emulation, and few Japanese PSP games that I’m a fan of. (Tactics Ogre and Falcom RPGs such as Ys, Brandish, etc.)
The PC is for everything else and more.
