It really depends on your style of attack in that game. I prefer playing CS:S more just cause they have the MP5K… ;c I recommend a STEYR AUG with desert eagles or a AWP with a desert eagle. 
Pretty cool plan, and it worked.
By the way, I found out what weapons are decent for me to use (you can read if you want):
Counter-Terrorists:
Rifle: M4A1-S/AUG
SMG: MP7/UMP-45
Pistols: All of them are actually pretty good.
Grenades: Incendiary Grenade/Flashbang (I use them just to annoy people honestly, but I’m somewhat helpful with them)
Terrorists:
Rifle: AK-47/SG553 (looks like a 556 to me)
SMGs: P90. P90 only. All spaghetti, no regretti.
Pistols: Desert Eagle/Tec-9.
