Nice opinion! News flash, it won’t be ending anytime soon and Israel won’t ever lose the land it has right now. Try as everyone might it’s not going to happen no matter how bad people whine :’).
Like repercussions from drone strikes?
Tbh, Japan is one of the very few allies we have left and there isn’t any outcry to change our current policies by them or us, so there’s no need to stir the pot.
Look around you. I know you’re spoiled growing up here, but I don’t know anyone that is starving or doesn’t have access to clean water. Capitalism isn’t the best system, but it’s not broken just the policies enacted at the moment that promote big business and kill small businesses.
First, you missed my point that specifically having privatized companies as opposed to state run companies does not have a higher standard of living. Second, the “isn’t the best but it’s what we have” is a pathetic counter-argument tbh. There shouldn’t be any more procrastinating in reviving the world mindset from the Capitalism = Good notion as it definitely creates inequality of classes. Look around you, Torch, there are homeless people in America.
The Taiwanese will never want to reunify with China, and it will just make the situation worse as the tension between those two countries worsen. The Taiwanese will not want to give up their political freedom, not to mention the waves of uneducated, low-wealth Chinese mainland laborers will come flooding into Taiwan for better opportunities, tainting the Taiwanese employment rate and their education system, which is currently completely independent from PRC’s education system. This, obviously, is not a good deal for the Taiwanese. However, this does not mean that the Taiwanese will want to officially declare independence, either. Although unlikely that the Chinese will start launching missiles and level the entire island, the declaration of independence coming from Taiwan may result in unpredicted outcomes. The Taiwanese will most likely want to maintain this delicate status quo that they have with the PRC government.
I agree with you on US troops leaving Japan. US is in a large amount of debt and at this point in time, Japan can defend themselves. Even though I am a Korean and we all politically hate Japan for the atrocities they did in Korea and China during WWII, I still think that they should be allowed to have their own small military, not limited to JDF.
As for your views on capitalism, it is not that simple finding an alternative economic system. We must find an economic system that does not provide additional disadvantages while providing advantages compared to the current system. Even if we do suspect that we found something that can substitute the current system, without much proof that the new system works, US will not easily change its current economic system for a new one, considering how big and influential our economy is at the moment. Maybe the feminazis can solve this problem by freeing themselves from the oppression of men.
Oh, you mean the people that love America? I’ve actually hosted an exchange student from Okinawa before, so stop with your ignorant opinionated guesses. They don’t hate us and they actually enjoy our presence there. It has created a very interesting culture.
Literally the only two reasons for homeless people (In America) is either laziness or a mental/physical problem that hinders you from getting a job. That can be resolved with better welfare systems and not free-loading people that are capable of work. (Without getting into my personal business I am very closely associated with some of those free-loaders) In America you can live the American dream. The only thing stopping anyone from living well is themselves. With the upcoming “free first two-years of community college” this will even out the classes even more. That is unless you are lazy and don’t want to go to school or try hard. In that case we just need to give handouts amirite? :’)
Stop allowing corporations to outsource and limit companies that wish to do business in America to just America. They can collaborate with other companies of course, this is not a embargo, just a recentralization of commerce.
No, mental illnesses are a secondary factor and are not the main cause for homelessness. The main cause for homelessness are economic issues (like non-affordable housing odd enough).
says stop ignorant opinion
proceeds to ignorant :’( :’(
XDD The American “dream” was achieved by loans/credit and was the slogan to progress consumerism.
I’m not even going to touch that because you should know better than to use “Stop allowing” XDD If you want me/us to stop allowing that I guess we should drop the minimum wage instead XDD
I know, the Taiwan thing was a joke of my casual neurotic support for China, along with the initial presidential campaign post XDD
Also: Nordic model of social democracy
Anyways, there’s a thing called craigslist where people post places for rent for really cheap.
The American dream is getting an education, getting a job, getting a place of your own, having a family, passing it on…
You can do all of those if you have enough ambition in America.
That doesn’t even make any sense. Minimum wage has nothing to do with rampant outsourcing.
yep, and the ocean and roads and your own house and showers and factories and forests and airplanes and boats and cars and tall buildings and everywhere else.
