I don’t usually do this but I am working on a project given to me and I need your help!
"What if, instead of putting gravestones, we plant trees on graves instead?
Wouldn’t that be spectacularly wonderful? In a few years it’s going to become a forest!
Each tree would also be memorable as all of them will be representing a faithful departed one. For generations to come, those trees shall be the memories of the past as well as the sustenance for the future. We won’t have to worry about trees disappearing from our world anymore since we humans shall replace them with this brilliant fashion. For every person, there’s a tree filled with memories. And for every tree, the future’s memory is safeguarded.
Give this petition a sign if you support this idea and want this to be implemented."
Help me and share this to gain as many signatures as possible
I didn’t know about this :o, thanks for sharing it
I am working (not technically) with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) on this, when we reach the 1000 signatures, they will start publishing this idea because of their well-known reputation across many countries’ governments
If a tree dies (through natural means), a new can be planted if a person who knows the departed one, wishes to do it, it’s totally up to their choice for the replenishment.
I never thought about if a tree dies due to unnatural means (cutting them down), though, a law can be placed to forbid people chopping trees in graveyards.
The project is for spreading awareness across my country and if it gets even bigger, towards the whole world about this idea! Simply speaking, me and a couple of friends were given a task to present how we can conserve the environment and this is one of the idea’s we came up with
