I think the anonymous section needs to go. All it does is cause problems and people just are trolling and reverse trolling each other. It makes no sense to have one, because if people have issues, you should know who is talking…this is just a petition by the way, not an official poll.
There is only one rule: don’t post anything illegal (this also includes spreading personal information)
Since there are no other rules there is no moderation
This means: topics will not be locked/removed/edited
aloha staff can not see ip’s or who is posting/reading in the anonymous section
The only time an ip will be checked (or moderation will take place) is in the case of violation of the rule mentioned above
Guys, welcome to the internet.
If you feel offended, butthurt or you find yourself crying in the middle of the night because of things you read in the anon section, remind yourself:
The anonymous person who posted in that section was too much of a child to say the same stuff in the open. Are YOU gonna feel offended by something that a pathetic loner didn’t dare to tell you in your face? Is it worth it? C’mon. Be the bigger man.
So, there’s shittalk about some clans, huh. Isn’t that kind of the purpose of a clan? To take up arms and fight against other clans? If you can’t handle a bit of trashtalk you shouldn’t be in a first person shooter game-clan on the world wide web and if you’re offended easily you certainly shouldn’t be reading stuff posted by anonymous people. Besides, if it feels like the whole world is picking on you, realize they all wear the same mask, hell, it could all be the same person.
aloha.pk is a very open minded and tolerant community I am proud to be a part of. The things you read in the anon section, the shittalk about clans etc, they could just as well have been said ingame, where people are also kind of anonymous (if they want). The things in this anonymous forum are nowhere like all the things you read ingame. We don’t ‘ban’ or ‘mute’ for that either.
Last but not least. If you want a place to change, don’t point to others but start by being an example yourself.
