i added you to our automute list because of pretty much constant complaints from several staff members for quite a while now about your chatting habits, after multiple warnings - at least two through the forum that i know of, probably several more ingame. it took literally months for me to really be convinced this was necessary
i took your suggestion and checked chat logs - notimpressed honestly.
you don’t seem to respond to warnings, try to justify your abuse with “someone else did it too!!”, try to act like you’re either able to ban people or able to get people banned in order to get people to behave how you want them to, scream racism, threats and ridiculous insults. you’re a pretty negative presence on the server, but you (for the most part) play fairly. i don’t think anyone’s caught you griefing in a while now, so i don’t think it’s fair to stop you from playing - you’re just not able to talk or votekick people for a while.

Banning people for being ‘mean’? What is this, fucking kindergarten? This Indian Cook cunt just needs to stop creating false votekicks and spamming, I couldn’t care less about the content of his spams. Though purposely evading his mute wasn’t smart.
Just keep him muted for a period of time, and if he is targeting a player with pm… well, isn’t there a command to remove/mute pm? Because if anything he can still remain an easy head to shoot at in game.
And I don’t blame him, seeing as the Philippines is an easy target; The country can’t defend itself (or any of its claimed territory), its economy is driven by its Filipino transsexual services and escorts, and the country has absolutely no influence apart from being a nice resting point for the US military.

But you are right about my country, we can’t really defend much of ours and our President is trying to prove something. But he is spamming insults and you can’t focus much on your /an if there is too much on the chat. But you can still check the in-game chatlog in OpenSpades. There are toaster kids in the game who get easily pissed of by either simple jokes or just repetitive insults. But he probably won’t stop if he gets unmuted unless he learns his lessons that i don’t really focus on.
I agree with muting someone for spamming. But I don’t agree with muting someone for being ‘offensive’. Especially if we begin to engineer the server to pamper to these “toaster kids” who get insulted easily; let the internet be a place for these kids to experience the adult world a little more. This is how I see it. Indian Cook has done three things: False votekicking, spamming, and pm harassing. So logically; Remove his ability to /votekick, mute him in chat, and disable his ability to pm. Is that not common sense? Until he promises not to do those things again, keep those restrictions on. And if he breaks those promises … well, I guess he’d be back on here appealing again…

I don’t care if he gets banned or gets a second chance. He was given a chance to play but he is muted and cannot use votekicks. Plus the kids made half of the internet their place already with fidget spinners, edgy art and shitty fanfics/theories. I’m not really offended into wht Cook says but it kind of feels rude to me in a way that i can’t really describe. There is no “Being disruptive or toxic” in the how/when to make a report topic in the abuse reports section. But that doesn’t mean the player might not get banned for being disruptive/toxic/offensive. They might get banned if the administrators think about their actions.

Stop agrivating people in the appeal section. This is between staff and the person appealing. As a witness you can post saying what you saw happen. Beyond that do not continue posting on the appeal. When it turns in to a pissing match it distracts from the appeal and the purpose of this board.

I was responding to those who pathetically called for his ban (whose posts now seemed to have been removed?) because of their childlike offense-taking to his rudeness. Which is pathetic. I don’t know the banning or admin guidelines, but I didn’t think aloha was a server which bans people for insults or rude words. So that is why I responded.
(Though kicking/temp. banning for purposely avoiding existing punishments, until the appeal has been processed, I don’t have a problem with).
