I was automatically banned by the server’s anti-cheat system due to a false positive caused by a client-side crash during the /heaven event.
A player named “DUROV IS FREE” reached 1,000 blocks placed, which automatically triggered the server’s /heaven script, teleporting players to coordinate A1 high up in the sky.
Upon being teleported into the upper atmosphere, my OpenSpades client suffered an unhandled engine crash in GLMapRenderer.cpp (an access violation when looking up map chunks at high Z altitudes). Because the game process crashed and hung in the air before exiting, the automated anti-cheat mistakenly flagged my character as fly-hacking/noclip. I was not using any cheats or flight mods—it was solely an engine crash caused by the sudden high-altitude teleport.
Why do you think you should be unbanned?
Because this was a 100% false positive triggered by an engine rendering crash during the server’s own /heaven event, not any kind of cheating or malicious activity.
You can easily verify this in the server logs: at the exact timestamp when DUROV IS FREE placed the 1,000th block and unlocked /heaven, my client crashed and desynced at grid A1. I have both the screenshot and the minidump file (ySpadesCrash1356765.dmp) proving the client crashed at that exact second.
I have already patched the chunk rendering bounds bug in my client so this crash will never occur again. I always play fairly and would appreciate being allowed back into aloha.pk servers
