My dads old records collection (small part of it)

Went to my old parents house yesterday and decided to take pictures of my dads old records. He has quite a bit of them (picture) that have been sitting on that shelf since the 70s. Since I was bored I took pictures of his Peter Gabriel albums, Genesis, Jethro Tull and Yes albums. This post contains all of Peter’s albums that he ever released since he started his career up to the 90s when he started publishing albums on CD’s. Unfortunately I don’t have Peter’s first ever album and the OST from some movie about Jesus, forgot to take pictures of them since I was in a hurry. There is also a picture of all of my dad’s Jethro Tull, Genesis and Yes albums. I also took pictures of Jethro Tull’s album Thick As A Brick, but in the form of newspaper, and this is apparently the only edition of that album ever released. All other Thick As A Brick albums were published in standard record carboard boxes (forgot the name for them lol, basically that thing in which a record is inside of). However, most of the pictures are of Peter Gabriels’ albums.

Some of the pictures might look odd (like, there are taken at a 90 degree angle in which they aren’t) but I don’t know why they look like that on Imgur. They look fine on my PC. Also, some pictures are kinda blurry so 'scuse that.

This is Peters second album he released, I believe: http://imgur.com/lTSrEts,mBi1PXY,RFrmXUl,CHGYKSr#0

Lol damn, that’s a lot of records xD I remember visiting a friend’s house before back in elementary and finding him collecting lot’s of Beatles and Pink Floyd records despite his age.

Well, got even more record pictures today plus a picture of a concert ticket for Peter Gabriels concert in Budapest in 1987 which my dad saved as a long lasting memory.

David Bowie’s single record with art on the record itself (has both sides): http://imgur.com/yCVqkUU,R1U9mY1

A very interesting single record. Name is Die Combi-Spielidee and what’s so special about is the fact that it’s made on a piece of very flexible vinyl so it ca be bent in ways that would break a normal record. Note that what I did here did not damage the record, it’s meant to be so “floppy”: http://imgur.com/CqFg70Q,BaaPvK4,rJ4NLxE,4bWb8Oi

Also, I’ve no idea what the text on the letter/sleeve means since it’s in German.
