I got banned for Nothing?!

Okay , I dont want to seem like a rage bucket but I was playing AOE doing really well , beating the crap out of noobs , when all of a sudden a message pops up ‘kicked’ . In a friviolous effort to rejoin another message appears ‘banned’?
What had I done wrong , I wasnt hacking , I even registered just so I could ask?
