  4. Why were you banned? Lying severely decreases your chances of getting unbanned. If your “little brother” got you banned, tell him to make an appeal, or accept responsibility on his behalf.
    for using aimbot and shoot through walls

  5. Why should you be unbanned?
    I was using those because I kept dying to hackers and the hackers weren’t being banned so I thought that I should hack against the hackers. I know that this is wrong and that there is a way to stop hackers by doing the /admin

Hi,
I was the “Guard” that banned you today.

First of all I would like to thank you for being honest and coming clean about the hacking and it matches with the evidence, we do believe in giving the oppurtunity for a second chance if there is reason to belive in possible improvement and honest understanding of the situation.

However I do have some questions regarding the why and your reasoning behind it. I was in-game playing on the same team as you from the beginning of that map rotation to the end and I can be fairly certain in telling you that you did not use hacks against other hackers at that time and even if it would have been the case the vast majority of the players at any given time are legit and we spend quite some time to try to keep it that way. So instead of hacking against hackers you ended up further ruining the game for a majority of legit players.

You also state that you knew about the /admin command but you did not use it a single time before you decided to start cheating.

It is not always easy for players to determin if someone is just good or using cheats, but there are ways, and why did not at least try to get into contact with us before deciding to start cheating if you knew about /admin? Also, do you think it was in any way helpful to use hacks against an entire team of players even if you thought someone else was using hacks on that team?

Hi Hawken,

To answer you first question it was the game before and the reason I hacked in the game after was because I had to research and download the hacks.

To answer your second question I saw an auto message in chat talking about the /admin command, but I assumed the game to be dead and there to be no mods. This is why I didn’t use the /admin command. This also answers why I didn’t try to get into contact with you before.

But I still would have liked you to answer this in some way or form: Also, do you think it was in any way helpful to use hacks against an entire team of players even if you thought someone else was using hacks on that team? It would also be helpful if you could try to present some reasoning to convince me of how this was a single occasion of bad judgment and that it will not happen again?

Hi Hawken

I do not really have a way to answer that, but it was not fair to the entire enemy team. I will not do it again. The reason I chose to hack instead of telling a mod was because I couldn’t be bothered, because I did not really know what to say and because I thought it would be more fun to hack instead.

Thanks for your answer.

Since you have been honest with me from the start and from the looks of it this was your first time getting banned and you gave me a plausible real reason without any lies I will give you another chance with some conditions.

First of al remove all the hacks, dlls, clients etc and use a legit one, next time try to use the /admin command if you suspect another player and if that does not get any attention come and join our discord channel to get some help next time. Most of the time there is someone around willing to help. There is quite a unique community around this old game.

If you are interested in how to differ hackers from legit players there is an entire section of this forum dedicated to abuse reports then you can be part of the solution to the problem instead of adding to it.

I will see to it that you get unbanned soon and you are welcome to play and engage in the community if you so like and prove that this was just an isolated case of lack of judgment.

Please be so kind to not making me regret it.
