He kept asking a player named “leslie” for blowjobs :S he kept asking even after she said no, and people started to tell him off…including me. I started a votekick, and he still wouldn’t stop.
That’s like saying, “There are a bunch of murderers in the world so it must be okay to murder.” I can’t understand why people think that just because someone else does something bad doesn’t mean it’s ok for them to do that thing. Anyways, harassment like that is disgusting and can be offending depending on what kind of person you are.
Also it may be freedom of speech here, but since aloha is an american server(which i believe is still hosted in america) it would have to comply with the anti-cyberbullying and anti-cyberharassment laws, which in some cases this could be considered as both kinds of bullying.
you guys took something so small and made it bigger then what it was . and i know its wrong for saying that other people do it so why cant i , but what i meant was theres nothing you can REALLY do to prevent it … people are gunna do it
It’s the internet. Expect this stuff. People say whatever they want, who are we to stop them?
As for harassing players, it just depends. Everything related to muting people is situational. (except spamming, but that’s usually automatically taken care of)
this is dumb . people take things up the butt sometimes . its a game . . forget about it ! its not like they where obligated to respond to me . they chose to >:(
I generally say, whatever you damn well please to say is fine, but we have a few boundaries.
Minimal racism.
Minimal sexism.
Minimal sexual harrassment.
Use common sense.
If you’re pissing someone off to the point where they feel like they need to report and complain about you, you might be taking things too far. Just don’t be like these guys and we should be fine.
This is what I go by: If you wouldn’t say something in real life, don’t say it on the internet. That’s just me, but I’ve been successful off of that phrase as in not getting in trouble on the internet.
