Since 0.76 is definitely better than 0.75, which the majority of servers run, why can’t Aloha migrate to 0.76? It’s the biggest server network in AoS, and if it will run 0.76, people will probably automatically migrate to 0.76, too. It will increase the amount of players on 0.76, and it will (slightly) change the way we play.
most people won’t be bothered to download a new version of the game and might quit entirely. the AoS community is very fragile now, it would be a very dangerous move to switch to a new version.
yeah man those graphics are insane
Sure, but it’s like Counter-Strike right now.
Some people play the new one, but more people refer the old one.
The .76 Graphics are better, but look so weird for a blocky game. This game was mean’t to be a crossover between minecraft and call of duty, with blocky graphics. This game wasn’t mean’t to have nice graphics, therefore .75 graphics are perfect for the type of game Ace of Spades is.

(chat is more distracting and annoying in .76)
@Muffin,
People actually would already have 0.76 installed usually…
But I have to agree with muffin on there, if we make a drastic change people would just give up. The AoS community hates accepting that 0.75 is fucking flawed. At least maybe get some more 0.76 servers up anyways though?
Keep in mind that the the 0.76 servers are used for leagues… What happened to those though?
The default build and shoot installer automatically installs 0.76 too, I believe.
I think you’ve confusing 0.76 with OpenSpades
atrain, wouldn’t kill to have somewhat easier on the eyes graphics. Or at least make it so there’s no fps lock.
Personally, the graphics aren’t that bad. If anything, they should remain low as some peoples computers can’t go higher without the increase of frames dropping. I personally could shift to 0.76, but it just feels more familiar and easier to play with no bullet drop with rifles (if I recall correctly it was fixed in 0.76).
I’d play aos more if the fps lock was higher. And yes, I have tried BR’s fps lock thing and it doesn’t work.
