Now now, before you go saying “NEWP, NO H4X U JUST SUCK,” please keep in mind that I rarely accuse anyone of hacking. When I do, however, I’m usually right. If the hack isn’t all-out obvious, I always investigate before calling the person out. Right now, there is someone of last team standing named MLG:TylerSaw or something like that, and he has 60 kills with over 50% accuracy. I’ve caught him hacking before, and he’s been banned by admins before. http://i.imgur.com/nMEof.png
In summary, this is why I think he is aimbotting:
-I saw his gun snap between targets in spectator.
-I checked him impossible stats with the /accuracy and /ratio commands.
-I’ve caught him hacking before (even higher accuracy with 100+ kills. The only reason I didn’t report him that instance was because he was banned)
-As previously stated, he’s been votekicked by trusted players and banned by admins.
Keeping a rifle accuracy over 50% is not hard at all, When i play seriously i keep mine at around 75%, having more than 100 kills with a decent 4 kill death ratio.I’ve seen tyler play and i’ve played with him several times, he does not hack.
Sup I’m {MLG}|Tyler~SAW and to add to this I’ve had an uncountable amount of votekicks against me, I’ve been banned by admins more then 5 times, and I’ve been Permabanned and then unbanned. In all seriousness tho I average a 4.00 KDR, 30-50% accuracy, and a ping of 45-55. I’ve been playing shooters for about 8+ years and I’m just that good, and you don’t suck, you play well. I have many players/friends that are just as good as me. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but I’ve never hacked on AoS or the aloha servers. I’ve told the same thing to the admin that banned and unbanned me and gave him my word. As I’ll do the same for you. Faze I have never hacked on AoS or the aloha servers. My accuracy is anywhere from 20-30%, but my KDR is much higher.

An accuracy that high with that many kills is something hard for even Mikuli or Tank to do.

Thanks for the hot tip… actually i was there and he disappeared. Will be on the lookout for him though. I believe you did /admin and was asking for help with this. you did the right thing. sometimes we dont always see that pop up on our side. I happened to though, and went in. you did the right thing.
I’ll voutch for Tyler. He camps sometimes but doesn’t cheat.
Are only admins/trusted able to use the accuracy command? I’ve tried before but it has never worked for me. I’d like to know what I average on accuracy myself.
AFAIK accuracy is available for all, at least on aloha servers. It works on GH as well.
It’s just “/accuracy” if you want to see yourself, or “/accuracy [name]” for other people.
Keep in mind it’s horribly bugged, and is about reliable and useful as a a glass hammer.
Well, it’s hard to say about the other details. Sometimes, there are tells like sound if you’re not crouched or the enemy catching on to a path your team is repeatedly using.
A good way to catch a cheater is by watching them in spectator mode. Usually, you can tell if they’re cheating, smart or just lucky.
Buy fraps and take a video for proof.
I must have been doing it wrong. But I figured it out now anyway.
Here are my stats. Bear in mind, I’m a decent player, long-time FPS player, hand-eye coordination built up from playing Missile Command, Street Fighter, Space Invaders, etc. and FPSing since the days of Doom!
Started the round with around 50% rifle accuracy
10 minutes in I was down to about 40% rifle accuracy
15-20 minutes in I leveled off about 35-38% accuracy for the rest of the round
I started the round with about 30% SMG accuracy, quickly down to 15%, and leveled off around 10-13% for the rest of the round
Didn’t use shotgun so no stats for that.
My Ratio was around 3-3.5 for most of the round. Although usually I average 2.5 for ratio. I play Tower of Babel a lot and tend to rush a lot more in that game mode.
My playstyle is a mix of strategic camping followed by bounding forward/rushing when the coast is clear, then repeating. I tend to take very long ways around enemy objectives so I can sneak up on them and get a payoff in kills/intel caps. I’ll rush forward in a as non-suicdey way as possible to protect an objective, to cover a player with the intel or to take down an enemy building. (like in Babel)
Most average to good players I saw had about half my accuracy on rifle, a little less on SMG (not much though) and half my ratio or less.
Most crappy players I saw had a ratio 1 or below and accuracy of 10% or less on rifle, 5% or less on SMG.
A camper would probably be able to maintain a 50% rifle accuracy depending on if he cared more about accuracy or kills, and a SMG ratio of about 10-15% at best probably.
I haven’t seen any hackers much less highly obvious ones these last few rounds so I don’t really have any solid data on that.
