I’ve been recently attempting to AFK overnight, and I wake up to lag out notifications. I have excellent internet so it isn’t on my end. Last night was extremely bad. I counted my drops and I was approximately asleep for 5-10 minutes before I was lagged out by the server. It’s not just this though! I’ve also been losing horses and mules due to lag, and I’ve even ended up on top of the ender farm due to lag as well. Thankfully I didn’t glitch through the floor…
Interesting - in the future when doing this make sure to do /gc to check the TPS of the server and the RAM usage. Knowing that will help know whether it is actual server lag or something between you and the server. Mind you, you can have amazing internet but still lag on MC due to bandwidth issues.
Finally - the server will autorestrt no matter what in the middle of the night. So afk over night is a bit hard.
