Led Zeppelin will always be the best band ever.
I love the Bajan Canadian
errrrrrr i dont know, i like the songs or whatever its called, the song in osu i guess???
They totally shall.
And how about some Rolling Stones?
Enjoy! Also we missed the 2 year anniversary of this glorious super thread of diverse and strangely agreeable music. So glad you guys hopped on the band wagon with me and some good tunes.
Keep posting anything new, old, borrowed or blue.
Music Appreciation is about to turn into story time.
So a when I was 18 me and a friend invested in a Hookah, it’s a kind of big elaborate piece of smoking paraphernalia that I hear is popular in the Middle East. Anyway. Along with the purchase of this hookah we also invested in an ounce of weed (28 grams) and many grams of shrooms. Halfway through smoking and eating mushrooms the mood shifts and I have Yellow Submarine on DVD, we put it on and start giggling away. Approximately half way through I’m distracted and rolling a joint and semi ignore what’s going on around me. I remember lighting up the joint and my focus switching back to the screen and…wait what the fuck…Shrek? My friend insists we only ever watched Shrek but I’m unconvinced.
Anyway:
Story time over.
I agree.
one of the best stuff that McCartney wrote
Also no one says Stones without this. I’m sure everyone would be pissed if Jagger didn’t do satisfaction in a concert.
For No One is one of my favourite songs of all time. don’t want to flood this thread with The Beatles…but this has been a sign from the Gods.
As lovely as old classics are, I think this post should at least mix in other stuff besides the more well known bands and artists. Some artists that aren’t really known and should be appreciated could be nice one in a while. (Since I listen to a wide range of music and am always looking for new ones that I haven’t heard of.)
Any of you know any?
Currently, I’ve been dosed with a huge amount of current asian pop and rock music mostly from Japan and now I want to switch back to western. The problem is that with how much influence I’ve been getting from it, it’s quite hard to find anything that could satisfy me…
Did you just fucking tell me what I should and shouldn’t post on my thread?!
HOW DARE YOU HAVE AN OPINION.
No but really I do agree, we just got kind into a classics splurge. The purpose of this thread was to initiate people to styles and genres they may not be used to. However, I must admit we have, somewhat, fallen into a groove of being obvious. So I do encourage you post something you really love but have never shared it with someone because you’re scared they “won’t get it”. I’ll start us off with a few of my unconventional loves.
(Not strictly unconventional just vastly different to my above posts. Plus not everyone knows IM or Psytrance as a genre, there I justified it).
But I admit no shame in liking this mash up:
Or this:
Two Star Symphony:
They don’t have a lot of their songs on youtube, so you’d have to buy them or something. I know, shocking. Or Spotify them.
The last Dubstep song was submitted 2 months ago… I’m sorry, I have to do this at least once more.
I also came up with a nice little rating system for you(r safety): 1 is nice and calm (Liquid/Melodic), 10 is pure noise (Underground/Darkstep).

Enjoy! (Or not; I apologize for the ear-rape in advance just in case.)
