Hi aloha community.
I’m having trouble recently with normal 0.75 ace of spades. Whenever I click on the server, it does not open a new window to let me join the server. I have no idea why is this happening and I need assistance, please help! Im currenly running it on windows 8. Thank you.
Hi UltraDeadly! Since it doesn’t sound like your using it already, I would suggest using the BnS Launcher. Using this should fix your problem. Let me know how it goes. 
Had this problem once when AoS wasn’t properly installed, try uninstall+reinstall. A restart might help too.
I hate to give conflicting information, but I’m going to specifically suggest NOT to use the BnS launcher, and instead install the original software.
Also, like Apoc said, be sure to entirely uninstall BnS or Ace of Spades from your machine before retrying.
CapRex has Win8, he might know something more about this as well.
So the nub 8x beeped me. I never got that problem, my only problem was the fps issue, but reinstalling the game should work for you.
(might be something with window’s registers)

Hi, friend. Your problem most likely lies in your browser. Whatever browser you are using you must make sure actually knows what to do when you click a link. Your computer is not an artificial intelligence and must be told exactly what to do all the time otherwise it will crash or do nothing. If for instance you are using Firefox, if you get to your settings page there should be a tab called “content”. Then under “content” look to see if there is an entry for something that looks like “aos://…” If there is, make sure that everything is set to run and that it is set to run/open with “client.exe”. (There are options to disable it from doing anything, asking what to do, etc. It just depends on what browser and version you have.) This should solve your problem, but uninstalling and reinstalling will do the same exact thing and fix your issue.
Also, if you ever have this issue in the future it is possible to start Ace of Spades and connect to a server from a .bat file.
