I found out about this game from RoachWalu. It's pretty much a martial arts/physics game. It's hard to learn the game but pretty fun once you get the hang of it. Would recommend it and it's free to play, unless you want skins.

Hey forums,

The aloha staff would like to challenge you for a second match. It will be at the 28th September at 9pm GMT. Here is a countdown.

Game mode will be TDM.
The team with the most kills in 45 minutes wins!
The version is 0.75.
The map is Island.

The poll was a tie between Island and Normandie, so I performed 25 random drawings and Island was randomly selected.

Staff members please confirm if you can still make it to the event, as we have 20 members signed up.

The serverip will be posted here and on the IRC at #matches.aloha.

If we decide to use Mumble, here is the info: Mumble IP:  Port: 64738

See you in a week and have a good game!

Courtesy of cuulli for organizing and planning out the event originally on the staff forums.

Aloha Team:

Forum Team:

Since the forum team is full, all other who wish to play will be listed under "maybe." If somebody from the forum team can't make it, the first person on the maybe list will substitute, then the second, third, etc. The list is made in the order of "first come, first serve" basis.

It's basically a game very similar to Grand Theft Auto except it's multiplayer. You can choose to be an Enforcer or Criminal, and you can either kill bad guys or kill, mug, and steal for money, respectively. You can customize your character, vehicle, and weapons as you level up, but the game is very complicated to figure out at first. But it is overall a decent game for one that is free.

Ace of Spades Classic / A new trend on Hallway?
« on: May 30, 2013, 11:09:43 AM HST »
Everybody remembers when hotels began to emerge in hallway, but now there is a new thing that I have spotted in the past few days. These mysterious rainbows are carved into the map and are magnificent and very time consuming to make.

Ace of Spades Classic / An old server come back to life.
« on: May 23, 2013, 09:30:26 AM HST »
Many of us know that Aloha is has almost every single gamemode for Ace of Spades there is, but few ever go on the original servers like ToW and CTF. After over a year of almost total vacancy, today ToW was had 29 people in it. It brought back so many memories of when the servers used to be full and all the fun times we had. Thank you to SnIpEr, Chase_UC, and all that played in the servers and hopefully we can always have the servers like this!  ;D

Ace of Spades Classic / All Aloha servers are filled to the max!
« on: June 21, 2012, 07:36:32 AM HST »
It's only been a week or so that the servers have been back up in good ole' Las Vegas, and now all our servers, including the classicgen, have been filled to the brim. I have to say Reki's words in response to advertising Aloha have actually came true. Maybe it's all the GH players migrating to better servers, or it's just the "Aloha magic."

I would like to thank Izzy and all Aloha admins for making AoS such a better game. Hope to play again with all of you when I come back.  ;)

Attention Jyromefedx and DUHsoAlex,

It has come to my awareness that you three think that I'm "overposting." This kinda started because of HoboHob, but he is not to blame for the sh**storm now started. After him asking why I overpost, Jyromefedx rudely responded that I have nothing better to do in life. Then again A Virus repeats the same question in the shout column and Alex proceeds to assume I'm doing it to be a guard.

Now both of you listen as well as everyone else who might read this post, I post in aloha.pk for reasons stated in this thread: http://aloha.pk/index.php?topic=475.0. But I'll repeat it again since some people want to assume. I post a lot because I want to help people out and make Aloha a better place, not to be an admin. I already said I'll wait as long as izzy wants to be an admin so I can better help people but some people think otherwise. There is no rules stating how much I can post and the other reason I post a lot is because of the freedom of expressing anything you want (language and double post...). Otherwise, I'll be in the AoS forums. Now I can recall that in order to be an admin you had to be nice and respectful to others. I obviously didn't see that in both of these guards and if being nice bad respectful wasn't a requirement then I see why I'm not an admin. @Jyromefedx I even personally asked you if you wanted help for your pc, and then you release this s**t:

Because you have nothing better to do with your life.

I don't see how any of you deserve to be guards with that attitude. All I wanted to do is to make Aloha a better place. Being an admin means being responsible and on top of things. That means when there is an issue, you stop what you do and resolve the issue. I don't think a lot of people are willing to do stop playing and go resolve an issue, especially in pinpoint. Do you guys think that just because your admins you can say s**t to someone who wants to help? Do you think I want to be an admin to go tell my friends at school or something? If you don't want me to post, just say it and I'm out of Aloha and you won't see another post from me. I'll go to the AoS forums. Jyromefedx, I'm a junior at high school whose in a medical program, which means I work at hospitals and have to stay up until 1 am to type 5-12 page reports. This is on top of all my classes, my friends, chores, and Tae Kwon Do. Welcome to my life of hardship, work and no sleep.

Anybody who posts in here, I kid you not when I say no more b***s**t posts about me or anybody else or I'll PM izzy.

@A Virus and HoboHob I know it wasn't your fault but please PM any questions or comments pertaining to me instead of posting, as some people are too immature.

Ace of Spades Classic / Requesting the addition of Titanic map
« on: May 14, 2012, 08:07:31 AM HST »
BuffetofLies recently released the Titanic map, and sad to say, no servers he and I know of use it. So I told him I will ask izzy to add it and here I am.

Ace of Spades Classic / Why I believe Aloha is great
« on: May 13, 2012, 08:22:16 AM HST »
In the recent negative attitudes caused by Anus and Dark/Yokai, I want to start a positive topic and show my appreciation for Aloha.

One reason why Aloha is better than any sever is the variety of choices of the kinds of servers that exist. We have almost every kind of AoS game mode in our servers, so you can never get bored in Aloha. Thanks, izzy.  ;D

What would Aloha severs be without their admins? Nowhere of course. I have never seen admins be as nice and lenient (in a good way) in any other server (a reason i want to join). The sheer freedom of saying anything and drawing phallic art or swastikas defines Aloha. Some admins which I am aquatinted with (PXYC, Froelich131, Hercales4, [Mojo]BucketHead, Jyromefedx, Reki) have always done their best when there is trouble and I am sure all the other admins I dont know well are also doing their jobs, even though they aren't around all the time! (Especially Pinpoint).  ;) Thank you to all Aloha admins!

Another reason why Aloha is great is from how small of a number the registered users are, making each other feel like friends and like a clan.We are less than 300 people and it makes the forums feel like a local chatroom (as opposed to AoS Forums) and there are some things that can't be observer in the AoS forums (the sarcasm of Reki and the derogatory critism of HoboHob  ;) ). The forums are also less strict, another example of freedom.

All in all, Aloha rocks!!!  8)  ;D
